A Caring Hand Hosts A Family Picnic October 4, 2003

The Foundation held a fun filled family style picnic from 11am to 3pm at Cedar Creek Park in Long Island on October 4, 2003 for all its volunteers, donors, friends and family. The picnic was a way to thank everyone for their amazing support.

The day was rainy and cold, but everyone let a smile be their umbrella and made it a success.  Close to fifty families attended and there was plenty of food and activities for everyone, including softball, basketball and tennis as well as entertainment for the kids including a magician, a clown, a caricaturist, fake tattoo booth, as well as face painting potato sack races, egg races and other similar fun activities.
